FAQ
Buying
It depends on how you plan to use it — fishing, leisure, coastal cruising, or something else entirely. We’ll have a conversation about how you use the water, your experience level, and your budget, and point you in the right direction from there.
Not at all. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in our current stock, we offer a boat sourcing service. Tell us what you’re after and we’ll use our network to track it down.
Yes, we’d always recommend a sea trial before committing to a purchase and can arrange this as part of the buying process.
Selling
Yes — get in touch and we’ll discuss your boat, give you an honest valuation, and handle the sales process on your behalf. We’ll take care of the listing, viewings, and paperwork so you don’t have to.
General
No, the two services are completely independent. That said, if you do need storage, our sister company Gorey Boat Storage offers secure facilities right here in the east of the island.
Thinking of Selling?
To get things moving, it helps to know:
- The make, model, and year of your boat
- Engine type and hours (if known)
- Current condition and any recent work done
- Where the boat is currently located
We’ll take it from there. No obligation, no pressure, just a straightforward conversation about what your boat is worth and what selling through us looks like.
